@Burnwinter I posted this to your thread on Flarum, but I disabled every extension and still got the issue. I just tried doing a fresh install on a clean DB and still got the error. I don't suppose you have somewhere you could do a test install to see if you get the issue too or if it is specific to the OMITT's host?
Pepe LeFrits I'm not sure if you have any info on the hosting, but it could certainly be some sort of automated hosting middleware causing it.

A fresh install on the OMITT hosting setup? Is it on a test node? What is it, a Linux VPS?

Not right now as I'm about to crash when the Brighton Pool match closes, but I reckon a reproducible install from config (maybe a config GitHub repo?) for OMITT mightn't be a bad idea or at least that's what I'd be advocating if someone was paying me.
Yeah, linux server running php 7.3.33, mysql mariadb 10.3.
You wanna have a Zoom call some time in a quiet moment or something? I might be able to set up some non-rocket-science stuff to help with troubleshooting, configuring and customising the site over time, if you are short on knowledge of Git, Docker etc. If that sounds like a fair description, I'm down.
Yeah, sure. I've also noticed a sporadic issue that happened a couple of times on Thursday and again today where the server CPU usage maxes out and memory usage greatly increases and the server goes down for a couple of minutes. Might be easier to discuss it on a call.

Noticed some slowness and timeouts briefly today myself, though it corrected itself pretty quickly.
Let's set up a chat some point soon, during the week would probably work for me.
ModSecurity is an Apache module which works as a web application firewall. It blocks known exploits and provides protection from a range of attacks against web applications. However, sometimes, ModSecurity may incorrectly determine that a certain request is malicious, while it is actually legitimate. In such a situation we can white-list triggered mod_security rule on the server, so that you can bypass the block.
We have found and whitelisted a few triggered rules on the server. You can test your website updating once again now.
Hopefully this issue is fixed now, @James @Big Willie @Burnwinter
Pepe LeFrits Oh nice. Guess it was option (2) then.
Haven't tested it out yet @Pepe LeFrits not much to aside and however about after last night's result haha.
One thing I did notice though is that twitter links sometimes don't load, no matter how many times I refresh the page, on WiFi and using data. Any idea what might be causing this?
Big Willie Got an example post with a Twitter link that's doing this for you?
Big Willie I used to have this problem on the old site, they’d load after disabling add blockers on OMIT.
Burnwinter I'll let you know next time it happens. Thanks.
goon on the old site it used to happen to me on those pages with tons of embedded twitter links like the ones Homestead used to do on the transfer threads. It would just take ages to load.
Thus ones different though. They just won't load no matter how long I wait at times. I have to keep refreshing until it luckily shows up on maybe the 20th attempt. Now always mind you but last night after the game it was pretty hard constantly refreshing the page just to view one tweet haha.
Seems to be most tweets now. I know there's a tweet there because it's a big blank space on the post. Just doesn't load at all. Tried clearing cache, turning on a VPN, with and without the Adblock, WiFi or mobile data. Just randomly started since yesterday for me.
Big Willie Weird.
The Twitter embed works by chucking an <iframe>
tag in the page (which effectively sets up a whole new web page inside it). Some browsers and even more likely, corporate or otherwise managed environments may block this as there's various ways it can be a security risk.
Twitter may also be blocked or fucked with for some reason.
What browser you on? See if you can open up its "Developer Tools" by right-clicking where the tweet should be, and have a look if there's actually an <iframe>
there. Based on what you're describing, there won't be.
Burnwinter using my phone for now on Chrome. I am at work at the moment but still turned off the work WiFi and my data both don't seem to be loading tweets since last night. It's weird. Even in desktop mode on the browser.
I'll try another device and see if it's just my phone or what.
@Burnwinter So it's not account related. Works on my mates phone who I just tried logging on with. I'll try restarting my phone.
