i spent several months in Tunis right after the Arab Spring. was an difficult time for locals, but such a beautiful city and people. they should win

Genuine question. When were you last in Buenos Aires to ask the locals that?

So one player achieved more with his country and one achieved more at club-level and to settle the dispute you just need to ask the people from his country. Makes total sense.

You cant compare Barca 2008-2015 aka the best club side ever to Napoli 1985-1990. Seria a was much harder to win than La Liga for starters. Maradona's club achievements were greater. Dont forget back then only one team per country could play in the CL aka the European Cup so Maradona had less opportunities. He did win a UEFA Cup though.

Listen Big Willie, Maradona is in the heart of Argentineans, Messi is not. Maradona is a one off, polar opposite of Messi.

You don't need to have lived in the city or been there to know this. I've watched enough documentaries on both.

I think ppl that prefer Messi weren't old enough to have seen Maradona or they grew up with Messi.

Ask old footballers like Rio Ferdinand and any players that are 40 plus and 99% say El Diego.

When Maradona died, all the Brazilian legendary players showed their respect and called him the GOAT. That wouldn't happen to any normal player especially due to the rivalry between the two countries.
