Interesting... You've given voice to something I've been thinking about, and clearly guilty of myself, for a few days now.
Some of the tone of discussion on here makes me sad. I realise this will sound massively hypocritical coming from me, but I'm going to try and change, if I stick around.
We're all on the same side here and yet there seems to a desire to point score, one up each other and, at times, interrogate opinions as if we're lawyers for the prosecution interrogating a suspect rather than just a bunch of blokes (we are almost exclusively blokes, right?) talking nonsense about football. No fault being cast here, as I said above I've been guilty of it, especially with Clarence & Willie.
This forum is called One More in the Tolly for a reason, I think, but quite often it feels a bit more like Live From The Old Bailey. I'm not saying we shouldn't debate and call a daft opinion out when we see it, but perhaps we could be nicer to each other about it?
Maybe I'm just overreacting because it's early in the morning and I haven't had enough sleep, but I think this is worth saying. If I'm wrong, well I'm wrong. It won't be the first, or last time. And Clarence, if you're reading this, I'm sorry man.
