There have been a few rumours on Twitter that the club isn't too happy with his attitude as well. Remember reading around the time he was dropped he'd been out clubbing before big matches.
The above should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Again this is probably BS but I've also heard suggestions that the physio that follows him around everywhere (allegedly during the summer too) is actually more of a chaperone...
There's no smoke without fire as they say....
This is exactly how BS rumors spread.
Could be a wingman?

seen similar mokbel suggest something similar a few days ago. I'd be happy if we kept him. gives us premium depth at DM, and the option to play a rugged midfield of rice and partey in tough away games.
Gazza M i hate tweets like this. arsenal said he was going to join up later when they announced the traveling party. he clearly had some legal matter to sort out. "oh they decided not to sell him he's going to america now." fuck off blue check clowns.
If we keep him our midfield is incredibly strong. Who could we possibly sign who'd be better than him this season?

Selling him was never going to be about improving on him and instead just making the economical decision in the event of a big offer from Saudi.
This is massive if we keep him. He's elite in his position and can give us time to let our new midfield bed in properly. Doesn't make much sense to sell both him and Xhaka in the same window regardless of who we are bringing in.
Being able to rest him would be massive too. Ode, Rice and Partey for the tougher games, swap one for Havertz any time we need to rest someone or if we want to go more attacking.
goon I'd imagine how much his head was turned would have played into it too.
Excellent. On the same level as Rodri (though more prone to injuries).
So turns out he’s not the guilty Partey?
Meatwad Yep, he had a court date yesterday, thats why he joined later.
I don't think the tweet is correlating those things. I saw sami mokbel tweet something similar a few days ago about us not pushing to sell partey
Great news. If we sold him we'd have to go hard for another midfielder yet again.
Wasn't there something in the news a couple weeks back about his bail being extended, if so wonder why he'd need to go to court.
If he stays the midfield is incredibly strong, like one of the best in the world strong.
