The politics won't be mentioned much, but there is the overpowering atmosphere of national defence in Ukraine, and the symbolism of this €100m fee as a literal "war chest" to rescue Ukraine's strongest football club and the sports jewel of its most disputed territory.
For example Shakhtar ultras have been posing for influencer pics with Ukrainian forces on the eastern front of the Russian war for a year or so.
There could be nasty pitfalls for Mudryk here. No doubt some Shakhtar fans aren't too keen on him leaving, but going on strike or refusing to maximise now might result in an accusation he's anti-Ukraine, or a campaign of threats against him or his people.
