Clrnc I can definitely see the reasoning behind us drawing a line and we probably already went further than what we envisioned initially, but blaming Mudryk himself seems weird to me too. By all accounts we were his first choice, but he isn't a complete cunt to the club that brought him through so when they got one bid that's better than the other, he didn't kick up a fuzz.
People have preached about the long-term here for years now, yet when Mudryk goes to Chelsea he's spoken about as if he's going to China and basically throwing away his career because they're a mess currently. They're getting Nkunku in the summer and are in the middle of an injury crisis, it's not like the future is looking bleak.
