This. Although depending of Vieiras fitness I wouldn't mind him starting over Xhaka.

That might be true. I just know Arteta wont sub Xhaka at any point and let Vieira get half an hour to show his worth. It'll be for someone else, probably in some shape disrupting switch. And I just really want to see the normal formation, not shutting up shop or chasing a game, with Ode and Vieira in the midfield slots. I want to see if it works.

They'll probably try to soak up pressure so it could be the best move but yeah I can see why Arteta wouldn't want to mess up a formula thats been mostly working so far this season.

vieira is some way off starting away games in the league. he still needs around 3-5 full matches, preferably easy home cup games, to start getting a feel for his team-mates and the style of play. I do like the look of him and hope we have a path for him into the starting 11
