Banana skin game if I've ever seen one. The result of this game will do a lot for perception of where we are.

Will need to go into this game ready to be physical, especially Saliba and Gabriel, if we want to enforce our game. Can't be allowing Tony time and space to be bringing to ball down or run the channels.

Sounds like Partey is back and in full contention to start while Zinchenko is out. Some suggestions that White a couple of issues too.

I'd go with this:

Hopefully Partey is back, Lokonga has done alright but defensively Partey has been missed.

Two of my best friends are Brentford season ticket holders. I want us to absolutely batter them on Sunday, but obviously I'd settle for a scruffy one nil. As already noted, it's going to be a good test of where we are as a team, cos I would imagine Brentford are going to - well, fly at us like a bunch of angry bees.

Brentford isn't what I would call a physical team at all. Only Toney carries a real threat in that regard. They're a technical side who presses high and often goes direct to find Mbuemo in the channel. Toney is a fantastic point man for them but not their only danger man.

They bullied us last season in the same fixture and Martinez had to be taken off at HT earlier this season when Utd played them away.

Thats a mighty good looking XI right there goon. Think it comes down to what urgency we will approach this game with, after a bit of a lull period. If we convert off our typical strong start, could score four.

The only thing I'd consider is starting White over Tomiyasu. The sense I'm getting is that we're very wary of rushing him back, which I'd be inclined to also treat with caution.
