To me it's the same as the calls for Calum Chambers to play there because he had a good season at Fulham in the position. White does not have anywhere close to the technical quality or intelligence to play such a pivotal role at Arsenal in my opinion. I might be wrong, but I reckon Arteta wouldn't even see him as an option there.

On Caceido - a ball-carrier is not what we need there, that's too high risk. Someone that can drop a shoulder to progress the ball and open up a passing lane, sure, but really it's all about their passing - it has to be rock solid, as well quick and progressive. I'm convinced that's what Arteta wants (and already has to an extent in Partey) in the position.

I'm definitely feeling more for a midfielder than a winger if we had to choose... Partey can't be relied on and an 8 who is an elite passer could take us up serious levels.

We need a cm. The drop in quality from Partey to Elneny (or Lokonga) is far more damaging than Martinelli/Saka to ESR (or someone like Jesus with Nketiah up front).

They will not sell a guaranteed starter like Danilo unless Kroenke decides to break the bank.

Danilo looks very talented. I was very excited about him in Januaey, but he's quite Bissoumaesque in style - all-action, amazing athlete, though not a great passer or the most technical. I'm not sure I see us signing a player like that, but he would improve our squad unquestionably.
Looks plenty technical Tricks. Has that ability to shift it between his feet swiftly. Lovely pass on him too
