There's nothing fluid or seemingly scripted in their game. Can't help but see nothing more than 11 world-class players and Ancelotti's buddy buddy management with them hoping things shake out.

goon maybe he's a little overhyped, but he is unique. he's quietly won the ball alot already in this game, and has quality on the ball. not many 2-way midfielders break through these days, that's why he gets so much attention

Yeah I noticed he’s pretty switched on from a ball winning perspective.

But these days I watch midfielders thinking about whether they fit here as a 6 or an 8 and he doesn’t look like he has enough about him on the ball for either role.

I think Camavinga is a very solid player, but he's not easy on the eye. Lots of jerky movement and no real panache....

Pepe LeFrits Yep Camavinga is a technician (one of his main strengths). Compare his technique to Valverde or Tchouameni for example.....

This is the worst match I have seen him play for sometime and he's still done a lot of good things. I'd say he's been Madrid's best player this year.

Gazza M I would have thought Klopp was the best person to oversee an overhaul, but their recruitment recently has been puzzling to say the least.

Hahah really enjoyed that!

I remember getting worried the Scousers were going to run riot every time I watched Madrid in recent weeks. Their form has been quite patchy and have looked quite disjointed/easy to play through. At 2-0 down tonight, I was thinking "I was expecting this" but they never panicked. They slowly got into the game and went on to completely outclass Liverpool. These guys are serial winners.

goon that's my thinking as well. they're like us, in that 2-3 expensive mistakes can set them back years. it's hard to recover quickly once you're swimming against that tide
