Glad Jesus scored a goal, although he didn't, which says enough about how much of the house to bet on him having a highly productive and injury free upcoming six months.
Burnwinter I guess this is key. I agree with your evaluation of Jesus's missing capabilities, but I disagree that this means we have to sell him because I think every one of our strikers has missing capabilities - especially the Swede.
Dunno what anyone sees in this guy anymore. I refuse to be duped again.
We were far worse with him on the pitch today, anyway. Don't really care if he looks nimble and dribbly. Rarely amounts to anything.
Coombs Yep no need to vilify him but it'd be pleasant not to go through the pretence this experiment is still in progress. Take what we can if we must and beyond that it's beyond time to move on.
Kinda funny that for all our past frustrations with Jesus, we're celebrating him missing a header. 😉

To be fair, he told his teammates immediately that was an own goal. I could see him mouthing it to Saka and others at the time of celebration.
USArsenal I know. Just amusing to think we're celebrating Jesus' ability to (not) score a goal.
