Just read that Jesus, as Brazil’s number 9, didn’t score a single goal at the 2018 World Cup. That is bit of a concern if I’m honest.

I could see him playing centre forward this season and maybe moving him after next summer if we get the big man striker Arteta seems to want.

Surely if we have concerns, which at least I do, they're based on what he's done in the four years since that.
in his defense brazil were a bit crap in 2018, and got knocked out in the quarters. Tim Vickery did say that tournament scarred him a bit, and led to him preferring to play out wide. hopefully this move is him proving to himself and the football world that he's moved past that phase of his career
Meh. Never liked him at City.
Hope he does well for us.
But he also scored in the 2019 Copa America final to help Brazil win it.
Meh signing - better than Eddie but not the calibre we need
I think this guy will surprise a lot of people
He’s clearly quality. Could make things click as he’ll be in sync with the likes of Saka, Odegaard and Vieira
having a striker with solid dribbling ability and footwork that can actually create space for their own shot is a nice novelty for us as well
I have a good feeling about this, though I still think we need a big bastard striker in the next window.

I loved Podolski. I love a player that can break the net with a shot.

We haven't had that since the Alexis up front experiment (which I frankly loved), and before that, Van Persie.
At least he's cheaper than Lacazette.
We'll see when his wages are announced.

putting aside the price tag and salary, I feel better about jesus as a player than I ever did about lacazette. the doubts were there from day one with him
Laca at best was a 6/10 player. Never envisaged that his lows would get down to the 3/10, 4/10 showings.
Jesus is a solid 7/10 player at his best. It’s not bad, but it’s not great.
There’s no magic in his boots, but better than nothing I guess.
Think you guys are seriously underrating Jesus. Not many strikers can create chances for themselves like he can
