To be fair to Jesus though only one of his misses seemed bad to me and even that was a little awkward. The rest were a combination of good saves and tackles in time pressured situations.
Strikers hitting above or below xG is overrated. Chances typically have around a 20% chance of going in. So it doesn't really matter if you are hitting those 20% chances at 16% or 24%. Volume is much more important. If you are taking one shot like Laca because you are never in the box, then you will almost always finish a game with no goals. If you're Salah taking 4 shots per game, then you will score in most games. It's that simple
And that's where we see the difference in Arsenal now that the team is complete. The front five are flooding the box more (we get most bodies in the box per cross in the league this season), and the forwards are spending more time closer to the box to get more shots off.
