16% of Uniteds goals have been on the counter attack too which is the highest in the league by the looks of it.
Only Brighton have scored a higher percentage of their goals from ‘open play’ (weird terminology, as it excludes counter attacks) goals than us. We’ve scored more (I.e. not just in terms of percentage) than anyone else in the league including City.
We’ve scored just 3% of our goals from penalties, only Palace have lower. 10% of City’s goals have come from pens. That’s mad.
One area we clearly need to improve is counter attacks, because there’s plenty of opportunities to score goals on the counter and we don’t do it enough.
