Chelsea appointed Lamps about 7 weeks ago, when the club had 39 points. They have 43 right now and I am not sure they add to that on Sunday either. This sort of catastrophe is surely going to take more than a summer off to heal from. Losing out on Mudryk continues to shape up as an epic blessing.
Liverpool are going to have a lot to do in the summer to lighten their wage bill. Hopefully they go into the season a bit too lean.

Good to see a different team make it too. I see one of their players has become the first player to go from non league up to the Premier League with the same club which is pretty amazing. When did we last play Luton? Sounds like another one of those "haven't lost to them since xxxx" records we've had a habit of changing in recent seasons.

United were pretty shit before the World Cup too, their post Ronaldo form has been very good. Still things like that Liverpool match make me think they may have over performed their actual level. They'd need a perfect summer to get in the title mix.

Qwiss Agreed, I look at them and don't see this great side that others in the media will have us believe. That 7-0 defeat definitely shut a lot of the media hype down. Varane, Casemiro & Rashford in particular are the reason they are in the position they are. Without Rashford's goals I think they struggle to make European places. Ten Hag has turned things around and got them on the right path but like you said they need to have a very good window if they want to move up to competing for titles. They finished with 58 League goals this season, that is joint 7th with Brentford. Like goon has pointed out they are mainly a counter attacking side
