Maddison is a good player albeit slightly injury prone. However, we are well stacked in his position.

He was one of the worst players I’ve seen play for us. Literally gave no effort and looked lazy as fuck. It really is bizarre how fit and nippy he looks for Fulham 2 years later.

Basically he’s been good in England apart from us, maybe he just doesn’t like North London.

Everton look much better with a focal point in DCL. 1-0 up away to Brighton.

Think an Everton win is good for us so they have confidence/momentum ahead of City.

goon on the bright side we play them before City do. Two losses on the bounce might be enough to give them a kick up the arse.

These are the types of results that give you hope. Nobody would have given Everton a chance away at Brighton but this is what can happen when you’re fighting for your life/career. Now Everton will grow in confidence and Brighton will feel they have to put up more of a fight to get over this. So one game and one result has made it that bit more difficult for City now. I’ve always said City would drop points, but thought it would be likely we’d drop just as many if not more. Expected to lose a few at Newcastle in fairness so maybe we do have it in us to win the rest.
