Raphinha seems to have more of a killer attitude than Pepe.

Pepe brings chaos and unpredictability which is useful, but Raphinha has much better command of the ball and a far better appreciation of how the play and moves will unfold

yep. top modern wingers have to figure out how to apply their individual quality while fitting into the flow of a quick passing attack. pepe never figured out the latter, though in his defense he probably didnt have tje best coaches to expand that part of his game. pre 2012 Wenger could've made him a complete player I reckon

We sign Tielmans and Jesus? Meh, we would prob just accept and no hype (which is actually good for both players - low expectations by our crazy fan base).

Raphinha on the other hand, that would be a signing with intent and it would be ‘time to be excited’. Guy is a baller, Btec Ronaldinhio but I still would pay to watch him play.

Allows us to rotate and rest him. Could be both start on the left and right switching throughout games. Saka may also start to be used more centrally

Nah I'm not into that at all. You don't spend £55m to rotate and you don't move Saka from the right. Maybe you play Raphina on the left but again massive waste of resources to get him and play him on his weaker side. And thats before we start talking about Martinelli and ESR.

This signing doesn't make any sense and the way we are eyeing up right wingers worries me.

If we got more resources than we expects and Raphinha doesnt eat into our budget I am all for it.

I mean its like last year, some people keep insisting we had unlimited resources and buying White didn't eat into our CM budget too so lets do it this window.

If the links are true the only logical reason for us going for him would be Saka has indicated he won't extend his contract. You don't spend that much on a player in the same position otherwise.
