What is it about Raphinha or even Richarlison that Arteta apparently likes that Pépé wasn't offering him in the last two seasons? Or maybe thats not an accurate association I'm making, but if it is, I don't fully bredruge the owners for wanting too meticulously sign off on each transfer attempt.

Pepe might get you 10-20 goals from the wing played regularly but can barely be relied upon to do the basics even consistently let alone defend.

He's a gervinho with more goals.

Gervinho could dribble past his man 'faced up' or from a standing start.

Raphinha is proven in the Prem playing for a shit side, Pepe still jury out/flopped in same league. That’s the big difference.

Imagine what Ralph could do for a top 5 side?
