With Eddie looking certain to extend we've already got someone who can cover both the left wing and the striker role, who'll probably be better than Jesus next season anyway. We need to go bigger here.

Its a sad state of affairs when we are offering a forward top wages at the club, paying £50 millionish for him and people are having to big up his defending in an effort to make sense of it.

Saka has a higher ceiling obviously but not as proven yet.

Jesus been playing most of his city career as an aguero back-up or first choice winger and his goal return is decent.

It's better than any of our wingers.

All those trying to say stuff the praise for his defensive effort as a negative probably qwiss aside love odegaard for his paltry return from an advanced attacking midfield position.

Nketiah is 2 years younger and done fuck all in his career. We're handing him a 5m bonus and a 5 year contract he'll start running down once we can't sell him and no bottom half club wants to pay his wages.

ESR is developing but still need to be proven that scoring run wasn't a purple patch.

50m is what city want, Not necessarily what we are paying.

From August to April Jesus managed 2 league goals. 4 of his 8 goals for the season came in one match against Watford. I think if we want to worry about purple patches its him we should be looking at.

Jesus consistently under performs against his xG. Do you reckon he'll get more or less created for him at Arsenal than City?

The fact that we have a number 10 who doesn't score enough means we need a striker that offers more. I also don't think we are going to get another striker along with Jesus. Its him and Eddie.

Jesus has always been a facilitator in City's attack, with the wide players being the main goal contributors. He could breakout with more responsibility in the attack.

This is the year of the Benz afterall.
