Yeah. I think the reason we don't get that kind of good fortune going forward is because we don't try to create anything. It's to be expected that our midfield won't be as good without Partey, but we have attacking players worth hundreds of millions in this team. Why don't we try to compensate for his absence by throwing a bit more into the attacking half? Even if we concede one we should be looking at scoring two or three. Brighton have just been on their worst run of the season; we should have gone into this guns blazing.

We do have players who could be doing a lot better. Sambi was valued at 20m, same as Mwepu who just scored for Brighton who's only a year older and has played in an even weaker league before. The squad definitely could be in a better place but this is first and foremost an issue of coaching and training
Huh? We aren't the only team that has good goals scored against us and players who miss a few chances. As a team you can't rely on these margins to be successful. We haven't done anywhere near enough to win today.

Arteta is a bad coach because he cares more about bullshit like corporate culture and other nonsense that had nothing to do with football. But the least our players can do is concentrate and try hard. They don't, they need Daddy Mikel to "motivate" them. It's pathetic.

One of the main tasks of a coach is to motivate. Morale, willingness and energy are for the coach to develop.
Losing 5-0 against Palace and Brighton combined when we are chasing top 4, and getting outplayed completely in 180mins of football, not testing both keepers once. Just let that sink in.
