He started shakily, but grew and grew as the game went on. I think the roaming role actually suits him more in some ways, and his engine is absolutely elite. He just doesn't stop trying and running.
I have to say, I think he's a really good player, and if our status next season makes it a possibility, I wouldn't be against him staying and competing for a place in the team, with a new CM brought in as direct competition. There's no way he would have hung around as anything but a starter at any point previously, but with Champions League and a much higher quality squad, he might be up for it. He's a passionate guy and must be absolutely loving seeing Arsenal and the Emirates like he's never seen it before. I think he's a really important part of the team and squad.
