Really liked the intensity we played at last night. Pinned Wolves back. Gives me more confidence going in to our remaining fixtures.

It started with the City game. With the crowd behind the team we are being able to do this at home. We are more cautious away which is understandable.

Still buzzing from last night. What a lift that was. Nothing like an injury time winner.

He tries all game but it's hard watching him play right now. I hope this gives him confidence. He fights, gets into duels, but his reactions are just so slow. If he can go on a mini run from hereon 4th place is ours.

His short game in this more advanced position is a bit rusty. A few miscued tight passes round the edge of the box, selling fakes poorly, incomplete understanding of the role. He was energetic and seemed to relish it though.

Also still buzzing after last night. Love how we didn't give up, the game felt like an old school European tie with the opposition content to defend their lead, but I always thought if we got 1, a second was likely. Not that I expected it to happen like that! Wolves got exactly what they deserved.

I also thought Odegaard was excellent, really was the one to drive us forward. Hopefully we see more of Pepe now, Martinelli's decision making is a little frustrating to me currently.

Pepe and ESR both deserve starts over Saka and Martinelli. Even Nketiah did really well, hope we start using the full squad in the next few games, March has plenty of fixtures to go around I think.

Agree. As you underscored lately, they play some decent stuff. Think their build up play was generally better than ours over both games but that's ok; our play has been trending up, however slowly, with much unrealized for what constitutes a higher ceiling. Some on here are entrenching their own goalposts but its been cultivating for longer than this season. Impressed how durable Wolves were on and off the ball without being compact. They could do without that shithousery if that substitution was a ploy.

This win is up there with Southampton(h), Leicester(a) in terms of the team solving a puzzle, showing some great in-game traits and engineering a win.

One of the key things for me in order for us to stretch this winning run. Something like 21 G/A between ESR and Pépé now.

Wolves have been very good in some of their other matches, they have a good squad and manager but they haven't been great against us, especially yesterday we thoroughly dominated them for the vast majority of the game.

Fair enough. To me balance of powers were different in each half and not sure how I would attribute domination. However Neto, Hwang(2nd), Podence had very good chances to go up. Coady didn't foul to me for what would have been a 1v1. Mind, Saka and Laca had a fair few chances and we should have been the ones assuming lead with a unawarded penalty in the first minutes.

we haven't beaten these at the emirates since 2011, they always show up really organised and give us a tough game

respect to laca, who despite probably not having a future with the club and despite not quite being of the required quality, still shows up with his lunch pail every game and fights to the end. he was tackling people near our own corner flag in the 90th minute.

white and odegaard were the other two that stood out as well. martin is fast becoming our creative rudder, and the teams movement 'activates' when they see him on the ball. and white continue to grow in stature

we do struggle when the wide players can't create anything, and saka and gabi had a quiet one. you could see things change once pepe came on and posed different problems for wolves

Was probably important for Gabriel that we won this match as well. He's been fantastic up until the City game but who knows how he'd react to being a scapegoat both against City and yesterday. Needs to get his head right though, wasn't good yesterday.

We’ve been threading to perform like this on the regular. The City game seemed to be the start of it, coinciding with the reintroduction of Martinelli.

Strangle other teams.

Yes their fixtures look easier

It’s so nice not having that soft underbelly. A couple of top additions in the summer and we can make a real fist of things next season

Wolves were apparently unbeaten in their previous 45 PL games where they had taken the lead. Damn.
