He’s quite deft with his passing too.

It wouldn’t be a massive miss if he were to leave mind you as there are plenty of good alternatives around. Fabian Ruiz or Renato Sanches would be my choices

If he somehow does well and stays out of trouble till end of season it might give us the chance we need to sell. It'd feel like victory to get any sort of fee for him.

This is the best case scenario.

Fabian Ruiz is a good shout for his potential replacement, class player.

Not only can he be replaced, but we can get someone that can give us another level in the role he's currently playing.

Still think he'd be very good to have in the squad next season, but not attached to the idea.

Would rather go for someone different, with a bit more pace and power like Renato and keep Xhaka, rather than spend on someone similar to Xhaka like Ruiz.

Agree with this.

Still far too immobile to play in a top class midfield, which is what we are hoping to build.

The upshot of this form, and hopefully European football qualification is that the perceived value of some players will go up.

Hopefully we can now sell him for around £30m in the summer.

Playing a similar role to the one he plays with Switzerland and looks a better fit. Now we need him to get into some shooting positions and make it count. Imagine he would test the keeper a lot more than Partey.

I have to say, I think he's a really good player, and if our status next season makes it a possibility, I wouldn't be against him staying and competing for a place in the team, with a new CM brought in as direct competition. There's no way he would have hung around as anything but a starter at any point previously, but with Champions League and a much higher quality squad, he might be up for it. He's a passionate guy and must be absolutely loving seeing Arsenal and the Emirates like he's never seen it before. I think he's a really important part of the team and squad.

He had a good game but Xhaka staying on beyond this season is a non-negotiable for me.

I don't know about that, I'm not his biggest fan but the issue isn't his quality, it's how reliant we've been on him. If he's prepared to accept a rotation role, I'd keep him - particularly if we don't get an acceptable offer for him.

Just watched the last 15 back, Nketiah really put a shift in, first time he's impressed me this season.

There’s about 5 things he done at Arsenal I will never forgive him.

He’s still more of a liability than asset.

People were even talking about how bad he was yesterday during the game. Winning changes the perspective, but he certainly wasn't good for large parts of the match.

Xhaka should never be in Arsenal colors next season.

Its a trick, some keep falling for it. I know I have once before. When the majority on here wished to enter 20/21 campaign with Ceballos and Xhaka as starters, that's when started to see there's an abusive cycle of some sorts at play.

Let's hope he keeps up the good performances for the rest of the year then we sell him off. Whether he stays on as a leadership figure or not, we need someone better than him. Same applies to Laca. The exact same

Let's be honest, nobody likes Xhaka either as a player or an personality, so I think it's safe to say his performances are more likely to be underrated than overrated. Suggesting the opposite is quite an amusing take on what fans are like.

He wasn't great in the first half but put in a good second half performance (hence why opinions changed). Our midfield in general definitely has a stronger feel to it when he's in there alongside Partey thanks to his positional sense, the one area he actually really excels at. You're allowed to acknowledge this whilst knowing he's capable of shitting the bed and wanting him replaced in the summer with someone who can do a lot more.
