Yeah it was a great window to be fair, but one window too late. We have been calling out for an Arteta and Mertesacker for years by then.

I had a problem with it. running to chelsea because he didn't like how things turned out for him at his dream club made him a shit-heel for life in my eyes. all the shit he put arsenal through, turned out to be for nothing because he couldn't stomach fighting for his place at barca. if he'd stayed for there for the rest of his career I'd respect him way more,
