If Auba had a good last 12 months Arteta would look the other way, I can assure you.
Auba has been shite in this period and apart from a couple of games has been sulking for the most part and this is Arteta’s way of getting him out as well rightfully punishing him for being unprofessional. Being late is one thing, missing sitters is also unprofessional, sulking and not being accountable/holding responsibility is also unprofessional. The worst for me? Not fronting up and being the first one to interview after a loss is unprofessional as well if you are supposed to be the leader. Auba has been found out. He always hides when the going gets tough. Good riddance.
