Giving it to Ramsdale would be pure PR. Everyone loves him but he's a young keeper, makes little sense.

Don't give it to anyone who might be adversely affected by the pressure. For me that rules out Ramsdale, Partey and any of the kids including Odegaard. White, Tomiyasu and Tierney feel a bit like introverts to me.

I think Gabriel feels like the most level headed guy with leadership qualities whilst also being assured of a starting spot.

It has to be someone that has leadership quality and speaks well.

Only Tierney qualifies imo. Odegaard and Ramsdale is too new. Gabriel and Tomi speaks too little English. The rest hasn't shown much leadership qualities or too young

Tierney is too young, too injury prone and at this moment doesn't even seem guaranteed his spot in the team on merit. Also seems like a bit of a teacher's pet but that's just a hunch, normally someone who plays the enforcer for the gaffer wouldn't be an issue but in this case it is.

Gabriel is the only choice really. His English isn't great but it's good enough for communication on the pitch.

Don't think I can count even a handful of managers in world football I dislike more than Arteta. Mourinho (awful character and football), Allardyce, Pardew (awful football and obsessed with us) Ferguson (just cuz of the rivalry), that's about it.

There are reasons for all those and they were all opposition managers. Arteta, as a former Arsenal player, and current manager should not be anywhere near a list of most disliked managers in world football for an Arsenal fan but they guy is sabotaging the club's future.
