Think all of this is obviously hilarious, but when I look at their squad the question has to be asked: are United better than this, or is Amorim just getting the results they deserve and no more?
They have one, perhaps two players good enough for a top 10 team the way I see it. Does anyone really think they have a better squad than Nottingham and Crystal Palace did last season? Than Villa? If you add their team up, player for player, there's no way they would rank higher than 15. They're so unbelievably shit that you'd think a City fan has been in charge of recruitment for the last decade. Not a single one of these clowns would be replacing anyone in our squad even if we could have them for free.
Amorim's inability to make lemonade out of lemons is sackworthy in itself I reckon; what's the point of having a manager who can't contribute anything on his own? But United are where they are because they really are no better than this, and they will still be in the same place once he's gone. They have a squad that is literally comparable to Sunderland - and might even be coming up short in that comparison. It's amazing.
