I'd back Isak every day to become a better player and a better striker than Vlahovic personally. Currently there's not much difference in level I reckon.
I do think Isak will need a more creative environment to really unleash though while Vlahovic will be able to score a lot due to his prominent box play and his strong heading ability, which might suit both Arteta and England more in the long run. On the ball there's no contest; Vlahovic is not a particularly technical or creative player. He might change that as he develops though. The best ones always do. Just look at Auba at his Arsenal peak and compare him to the 23 year old at St Etienne who didn't have a first touch.
If we can get Vlahovic for 45 million I definitely think we should do it. The potential return is just too good to turn down. I personally feel his value and profile should be more in line with Piatek when he went to Milan, but the market is what it is now I guess.
You certainly know Isaak's game way better than I do, but, like us all, I've watched football for a long time, and I would say Vlahovic is the much safer bet.
Isaak is a still a child and plays like one; Vlahovic leads his team, he plays every minute of every game, and he scores goals, goals, goals against all comers.
Isaak might learn to play with that sort of consistency of intensity, but it's a rare ability, and Vlahovic is already doing it.
I'd put it like this: someone needs to get hold of Isaak and teach him what he needs to learn in order to become an elite striker, whereas with Vlahovic, it looks to me like nothing and no one will prevent that from happening.
