White makes good decisions. I've watched a fair few Arsenal fullbacks and a fair few have pissed me off with their patternised choices. White neither persistently walks into walls nor regularly mis-executes, nor does he get too rote in his play.
Achieving the right balance in the distribution of key decisions for each posición (for example how often a fullback advances, then how often he tucks in versus overlapping after passing off when he does) has been a tactical emphasis under Arteta, I've heard it talked about a fair bit. White runs that part of his game very nicely, even if he's always had Saka there making him look great too.
