Another wishlist fav bites the dust

terrible outgoings, exacerbated by artetas garbage management driving down player values. kolasinac and elneny live on to torment further, xhaka and lacazette continue to gum up the works, and we have the hale end hostage crew rounded out by AMN and nketiah. we're taking this non negotiable schtick far too literally

Clrnc might have seen him more but whenever I've seen him he looked like a centre back 100%.

That's because he is. He can run, pass well and dribble decently so could be used as RB and not look shit. White played at RB too because of that reason.

Picking up the stats online, Tomiyasu completes one pass into the penalty box every 3 games whenever he played RB in his career which is why I say he can't really cross well. Have almost no consistent attacking stats at all.

Jed: Ivanovic is more of a RB, he was the true Hybrid Sagna style.

Sounds like Arteta has already replaced Ben White then.

We haven't really 'upgraded' from the end of last season at all. Some players with serious potential but growing pains will be there. No one to come in and immediately make a difference. We need Aubameyang to fire.

Looked Arteta in the eye in training. Out on loan before deadline.

We should have bought a ready made CM and then a few of these guys with potential. Its really hard to expect players to come in and thrive in the current side.

That we haven't attempted a change in CM is astonishing. Our engine room will see Xhaka Elneny a lot this season. That is unforgivable.

let me make sure im following this. we've spent £100m this summer on 2 centerbacks (when we already have gabriel, who cost good money) and a backup goalkeeper, but we failed to upgrade the most important position on the pitch (CM) and we've failed to really sell anyone, its been mostly loans with no obligation to buy.

i just....i dont even know

Yeah... Lokonga really needs to be the real deal.

It is a unreal situation.

Sackable.

Can’t quite believe we have found the amount we have, only to throw it away.

you expect some level of buffoonery from most epl clubs spending like drunken sailors, but the way we've burned cash this window is surreal. didnt think a 130m splurge could leave a footy supporter with barely a quarter chub. no twinge. nothing

He's just done what he said he would do, to be fair. He's changed pretty much the whole back seven to provide a 'platform' for the front 4. Let's see how it works out.

At least this is a squad that the next manager can actually work with.

fab and clrnc on the same wavelength re: takehiro

I'm struggling to enjoy even the good aspects of the window. I envy Romano's serenity.

So Kolasinac will be here next season, at least until January. It's amazing.
