I thought he had a good first half but we wasted some good opportunities he created. He certainly fell off once we conceded. I think after the City result and the way the seasons drifted away he just ran out of steam.

lorddulaarsenal In the first half of the season, that was Jesus. If he is not on his game, Trossard should be playing that role in my opinion - he's the best suited for it in our squad. A false#9 playing almost as a mirror image of Odegaard and letting Martinelli come inside and run beyond him.

He's had a very memorable season, in terms of production, important goals and captaincy. Belongs in the team of the season. However, though it may be a bit strange to say, I liked his game more last year and think he's regressed in 1-2 subtle areas marginally. Think his tempo has slightly dropped, avg. time on ball per possession increased. If I could back it with stats, I would. Top-notch quality additions in midfield will hopefully help him propel even further.

I wasn't a believer - he's proven me wrong. He's a different player today than he was 3 years ago. Much more decisive in front of goal and impacts our game positively more consistently. Finally at the level I expect from his role.
