That compilation video reminded me of Hleb for some reason. And I mean that in a positive way, since I was a big fan of him.

I liked that yesterday we much better at creating space for and finding Odegaard in the no. 10 position or sucking in the defenders and playing balls over the top or through passes for runs in behind for our front three. Actually looked like proper attacking football at times. Quality of passing, movement, touches and finishing is still badly lacking, but at least the signs indicate that we might be moving in the right direction again.

I think he's the biggest talent in the squad and that's one hell of a compliment as well nowadays. Absolutely love watching him play, my favourite Arsenal player as an adult was Fabregas, Odegaard could be everything the Spaniard was and more.

Fully agreed. Don't think thats OTT compliment at all.

Been a huge fan of him since day 1. He works hard, have the vision of Ozil, dribbling ability of David Silva/Hleb, intelligence of Cesc and is versatile as hell in many game aspect. I like that he never shies away from responsibility and is mostly influential, especially this season when his teammates gelled with him and not a maverick at all.

He is everything I wanted and imagined when we signed Ozil to be honest. His part in those 2 goals is so important and overlooked

I have to say I underestimated this little guy. I did think he'd be a good signing, but I think his ceiling is a lot higher than I first thought.

He can easily be one of the top 5-10 players in the world. He'd also look a lot better with a striker that's on his wavelength - players like him thrive on partnerships and at the moment he's still out on his own trying to stitch the attack together.

Funny enough, think ESR is probably most on his same wavelength.. Getting the right striker will be massive.

Him and Partey and forming a good partnership and I think he and Saka have started to click a lot more too. Even Laca makes runs as soon as he starts running inside with the ball.

He's definitely someone who thrives on having good players around him. He often looks pretty bad for Norway, only player on his wavelength is Haaland so he ends up trying to do too much himself instead.

His half turn is outstandingly effective.

It sounds simple, but the ability to receive the ball from either side, turn, and front up the opposing defender really neutralises them and enables more angles for him to pass to.

Really on form at the moment. Just needs to add a few goals to his game and he would be priceless.

I think he could be a good Arsenal captain in the future too. Maybe even next year already?

He's developing really well. Every month since he's been here he's been better and better. Hopefully that continues, he has a lot of potential still left. Very talented player, although the comparisons to Cesc and Ozil are still a bit too early lol.

Based on what he's shown for Arsenal, yeah absolutely, but this guy was Europe's most well known child prodigy for a reason. And it's not like we're comparing him to Iniesta, Cesc and Ozil were both very flawed players themselves throughout their careers, I genuinely think he will be a better player than them, and soon, if he stays fit and keeps that hunger he's showing right now. But I admit I'm a bit of a fanboy, since I wanted us to sign him for ages now 😆
