Thats a lovely pass. Kids still only 19, could still make it here.

Lokonga injured already. We never gonna sell these guys for good money.

Thats a real shame for Sambi, really feels like the guy needs a break for his career to get going.

If anything, this has been one break too many for him!

I mean, how the hell does he even manage it? These guys are lacking something. It can't be luck or just shit genetics, they've gotta be doing something...wrong?

invisibleman18 Did we falsify the medical, presumably like Celtic did for us?

It's just a loan so there would no benefit for us.

invisibleman18 Did you see the clip with Gary Lewin recently doing the rounds about what the aim of medical is?

I'm reading your questions as being tongue in cheek, but Lewin's comments were quite interesting in any case.

Tam yeah I was just teasing. I saw the Lewin interview with the story he told about the unnamed player we signed 18 months post acl, won some trophies then sold him shortly before we thought his body whould break down and he retired 18 months later. The injury history and transfer fees seem to fit Overmars except that he retired closer to 4 years after we sold him.

Seen that Biereth is doing alright at Motherwell this season. Scored 6 goals in 10 games (a goal every 110 minutes or so) and seems to be dealing with the physicality of the league well judging by his highlights. Always though he looked an interesting prospect from the youth team so wonder if he might become an option for us in a couple of years (probably needs to take another step up from the SPL).

Don Pacifico He is strong as hell but his body cannot take the physicality of football really. In the last 18 months, he had 4 injuries that kept him out for 4 weeks, 6 weeks , 4 weeks again and 10 weeks the last one. The first 3 muscular injuries.

HomeSteak yeah, fair. I know he had some injury problems last season and had already been out for a few weeks at Motherwell. Fingers crossed.

He looks pretty average to me. You have to have an incredibly high level to make it as a forward at a top club imo.

Speaking of loans and injuries. Good to see Tierney and Lokonga back for their respective clubs. Hopefully they can have strong endings to the 2nd half of their loans.

goon Same. I think he will be averagely prolific as a championship striker if injuries permit, that is his ceiling.
