In fairness to him even the Athletic claim the so called ‘advanced talks’ happened today so maybe he was just mis informed about how positive they were. He’s had a couple of exclusives on deals for guys like Kido but not much more. Had to do a U turn on Saliba after originally claiming he’d stick around.

I’ve lost a lot of respect for him after his childish beef with Romano.

We would be absolutely mental to pay Sheffield's asking price of 32 million or anywhere near that for Ramsdale.

you say that, but it's the 3rd attempt we've made to sign him and it's ended up in failure. I mean it's good we didn't overpay, but it doesn't say much for the negotiation team who is yet to stick the landing in this window

No matter what other excuse we try to come up for them, it's absolutely shambolic. Still can't believe we tried 3 bids close to 20m for this joker. A clear sign our club doesn't know what they are doing.
