It's 74m rising to 80m AA. Don't want to ever hear that our club is broke and didn't back our manager. Kroenke is off the hook as long as Arteta and Edu Is here. These are huge amounts for players of their position respectively.

Ramsdale is fucking shit. Not fit to even be our 2nf choice. There I said it, will be happy to be proven wrong.

So 70M between a defender and a GK. This is plain stupidity.

But they're both English so its ok.

I don't think Kroenke is off the hook to be fair. He needs to employ better people. Like bad signings are on Arteta and Edu, Arteta and Edu are on Kroenke.

Exactly. Kroenke has his gormless son in charge and he's making these decisions. A guy who knows next to nothing about football.

Unimpressed about this one to say the least. I don't care about the fee for him in particular. The quality is just not there and we probably don't have funds for positions that need attention. I don't see the obsession with an English gk right now.

Cretins giving Ramsdale abuse on Insta - he’s limited replies. Not good

Insta and twitter are full of absolute gobshites on the football pages.

Yeah that's shit. It's not his fault that the people running Arsenal are out of their minds.

There are always half a dozen hyped up English goal keepers every generation and most of them end up being a load of shit.

What worries me is that Sheffield played a very unambitious type of football so where would the scouts get the idea that he's good with his feet? They don’t play out the back at all from what I've seen.

They played out a lot with their back three under Wilder.

When Henderson was their keeper. They changed style last year because they were losing alot and had to go long, no more overlapping CBs. Then Wilder got sacked in January and they just went route 1 all the way under their interim guy.

Don't think I have ever seen a fan base universally thought a signing is dogshite. Even Silvestre and Willian had some supporters and wasn't abused. Good job our club is listening to the fans.

So not seen this guy but from most accounts he has had very mixed season. Dont really get it... is he really good with his feet or something?

Nobody knows because he's spent his career kicking it long.

Lol.. this signing is weird AF

You're seriously suggesting the club should listen to "fans" on Twitter?

Twitter is an irrelevance and those abusing Ramsdale are not actual Arsenal fans. They're children or retards. They're not representstive of anything.

He did win PotS at his clubs in the previous two seasons!

I have absolutely no opinion one way or another about the kid. I have barely seen any of him, so I will reserve judgement.

I'm not talking about those abusers, more of the fact the signing was universally frown upon by the fanbase from day 1 he is linked.

The club does their social media stats and impression on all various platforms. They know what's happening. Can't remember it was Edu or Kroenke who said they have a department specifically to do such stuffs

The same "fans" going crazy because we're signing Ødegaard and not Maddison? Or other so-called football "fans" racially abusing footballers? Like I said, Twitter is an irrelavance, it shouldn't factor into the decision making in any way. What happens on there is a refelction of nothing.

If you think Ødegaard is a universally frowned upon signing like Ramsdale you haven't paid attention. And if you don't think so and still make the comparison with Ødegaard then you've missed Clrnc's point.

Feels like a shocking transfer but I have to say I’m really rooting for him to be a success (more so than usual), lad is already receiving a ton of abuse.  the Twitter element of this fan base is as toxic as it gets.

It's really sad. It's not his fault and who knows, may be those with all the experience know. This is not done. He's a young man who doesn't deserve this.
