A wounded Harry, Harry, Raheem and Gareth... Good luck rest of world. Lukey will do some damage too if he's pushed far enough. And Declan, don't forget Declan.
If England couldn't win this tournament when every single factor that could have given them an advanatage was granted to them, then I'm not sure adding in the rest of the non-European nations for a mid-season tournament in Qatar is going to help. Football might be a bit shit, but surely another half decent team, as it was with Italy, will show up and see them off.
One thing about Harry, as good as his passing is and diving effectiveness in PL, he really is bang average against any half decent defence in higher level football. So slow and cumbersome, very ineffective.
Of course he can't cut it at the very highest level (however diminished that is), he is incredibly slow, has poor agility and footwork, his first touch is no more than half decent, his close control is mediocre - the fact that the guy has scored at a rate of 0.68 in the Premier League says everything about the standard of the competition. The fact that he has scored at nearly the same rate in the Champions League says all you need to know about that competition.
In the era of the superclubs, and sadly Tottenham have moved into that category in the past 6 or 7 years, flat-track bullies get hyped to the moon. Thankfully when superclubs meet one another, the truth is laid bare.
But, boy, is annoying to have to listen to the hype in the other 40 games of a season when these players are beating up on fodder in the Premier League and Champions League. I don't actually listen to it, but I feel for those that do.
