That's basically the core group of players signed for about £220m since Arteta has joined, an average of 27m each. Partey and Mari aside, most of those guys have at least half a dozen of their prime years to give.
I can certainly understand if you don't think Ramsdale and White as smart signings, I was dead against signing one of them too, but doomsday narrative is a bit much.
