They've wanted to do this for decades. That's why UEFA need to stamp this out once and for all now.
Well, for one thing how can the best players in the World not be allowed to represent their countries? It's going to make the World Cup seem like an Olympic event.
And what will they do set up their own national teams. It won't be long until they okay matches all over the world as well in Asia etc.

Maybe the players will have a say .. but once they are getting paid I don't think most will care.
Is this not just effectively replacing the midweek CL games, if not I don't see why the PL can't just go on as it is. It just removes the 'top 4 prize' and makes Uefa redundant.

The PL won't matter anymore, you think Kroenke will care that we are relegated and play in League 2? The money will be in the Super League.
