It's not a bluff this time. ECA just held an emergency meeting and none of the 12 ESL clubs turned up.

I agree - needs to be confronted now and killed. Otherwise this is going to be in the news for a decade while UEFA and the national leagues will continue to bleed influence.

Well I mean see if they have the guts. If they go through kick the club's out of Europe this week I would. If that's what you want to do and you can't play in uefa tournaments including Euros.

Who can't play in the euros? Players at the clubs? How's it anything to do with them.

None of this can happen unless it complies with EU employment law too. And probably needs to through the court of arbitration and some other courts. For the non English teams anyway.

Well surely you have to be registered as a player with uefa to player in their tournaments. If you break away from uefa structures your could be prevented from playing in their tournaments. I think politically there will be opposition to this if it gets that far.

As if the lifeless performance earlier today wasn't enough to get me down, now it turns out that Arsenal is one of the leading proponents for a fucking European Super League. This is shameful. Get Kroenke out of this club, he's a cancer.

Seriously, what the fuck is this club doing. We can't even beat Fulham and are stuck in midtable, yet our owner goes and conspires with scum like Florentino Perez to get Arsenal into a bloody Super League. If this goes through I may actually be done with football for good.

Everything that I hate about modern top flight football and I hope it fails including any negative impact to my club if that's what it comes to. Greed and not a care for the tradition or history of clubs. Remove them and you have nothing of value.

I'm completely opposed to this and I hate the idea of not being involved in the competions that have made the club what it is, and the greed of football in general is depressing now.
However, we've been very active in seeking this for a long time now...I remember Wenger talking about it and even prior to that. Just didn't include Man City, Spuds or Chelsea at the time.

In a way it's laughable that given our current state we are classed a superclub that should never be out of the top European competition. It shows how hollow this idea is. Now we can finish 10-15 forever and never have to worry about earning our rewards. No investment at all.
