At least your posts actually made some sense like a hit and hope. Some of the senseless stuffs we had to read in the previous pages though, deary me.

I believe most here really wanted him to succeed, but it was pretty obvious it wasn't working out. And there were massive red flags en route to today.

He's failed in our short term goals so thoroughly that it seriously risks the medium-long term. That, for me, is the real deal-breaker, and should result in managerial change. Still, we can't keep overhauling the club and expect to get anywhere, and yet this is where we are once again. #kroenkeout

That is a big concern. Possibly the biggest concern. For all his flaws, I genuinely think getting a new manager is likely to set us further back until we sort out tyne internal structures of the club.

Sometimes it did seem as if the manager's only job was to pick a starting eleven. As if the manager has no influence on the quality and type of football the team play.. Arteta is a horrible manager. He should be gone within days and that is a good thing.

Yeah change is the biggest concern. Let's keep him for 2 more seasons as he will not set us further back.

The point Don is making isn’t about Arteta, it’s that when he goes the decisions are going to be made by Edu, Josh and Vinai. At least two of them know nothing about football.

Feel the same.

On the other hand, my defense of Emery as a very competent manager who was given an unmanageable squad and simply couldn't communicate his ideas is looking great in hindsight.

Ditto my defense of Wenger as someone who was still extracting a lot from que squad he had.

Arteta has absolutely not made the best out of the squad he inherited. I have a lot of sympathy for him, but bringing in Willian for Auba there was in and of itself a sackable offence.

If I were in charge I would talk to players individually to see where they are at. I would then only keep Arteta is for some reason all players are still absolutely 'aboard' his project.

Assuming we don't have European football next season, I do think we need to take a punt and fast-track our youth players in order to address the wage/value deficit in the squad. Clear out the overpaid, underachieving senior players.

He should be sacked, but that's not a good thing. It raises very serious concerns about the future of this club. We don't have a solid organization, we're mushy and porous and lack capacity at almost every level. Including the coaching staff.

I had committed myself to being positive and waiting this out to see if we could just edge it this year. We haven't, it's over, and Arteta is just a part of the change I feel needs to be made.

Too much is made of those 3 guys here. Majority of our failings this season was on pitch, not off the pitch. It was literally mismanagement of the squad and match tactics.

Maybe, but those three mean it’s less certain they’ll be able to right that wrong. I just wish we had a better structure in place and didn’t sack out entire recruiting department among others at the start of the season.
