If we got rid of him in december we would have made the final with the opponents we had. Easiest run ever. Probably would have challenged for top 4 at the very least too.

Really don't get why we have to always waste seasons just to be a classy club.

if we dont sack him, how we are we going to recruit anyone in the summer? last summer he was spinning a fairy tale without a ton of results to have to explain.

this season was an unmitigated disaster. what top player is coming here to play dreadful, unimaginative football?

that relegation run of form in the 1st half of the season was sack worthy. if it wasn't for the afterglow of the fa cup there would've been a bigger outcry to fire him

I think Arteta is actually worse than he was last year. During the covid summer he used his subs and breaks really well. This season he's completely lost the ability to change the game.

I don’t think it has anything to do with being classy, they think they’re smarter and above the knee jerk nature of fans. That’s all good and well, but only to a point. Giving Arteta to the end of this season is fine, but don’t prolong it.

Give Brendan a wad of cash and promise to hang a self portrait of him somewhere prominent at the training ground.

I was really rooting for him and really wanted him to succeed but I think we have come to the end. There are things I can tolerate but this fucking negative soulless football is just too much to take. Dread having to watch us play every week.

No doubt our squad is shit and I didn’t expect him to work miracles but we aren’t this bad either

You know Arteta is so bad in this entire stint I sometimes struggle to understand people who wants to back him with hundreds of millions and make those ridiculous excuses for him. It's like they are not living in the same world when they say we should always give Arteta another pre-season to prove himself and if that don't work sack him next season.

How many fucking years are we going to waste on obvious flops?

I know you're not serious, but I actually think this is not that bad a squad. There's some great quality in all positions, some okay-ish players and a few youngsters with a lot of potential. It's not worse than some of the squads Wenger had for sure. Better than what Emery had as well. Yet the football we play is some of the worst I've ever seen. Arteta's just not up to it.

I really hope we don't drag this on any further. Just get him out tomorrow, so we can already begin the transition.

I thought we looked organised and a better drilled side back then too. Now we look a mess without really having added anything going forward.
