Totally agree that this idea that Xhaka had acted in a way that's somehow different to the higher profile names who Arteta has singled out just doesn't ring true for me.
Xhaka has regularly made poor decisions throughout matches most notably with terrible and reckless challenges that he never has demonstrated an ability to learn from our be accountable for.
To me throughout his time at Arsenal he's never been someone who demonstrates accountability the most obvious example being not being able to apologise in anyway for his reaction to the fans and the club.
That tells me a lot about his character which goes against all the traits he's supposedly lauded for. He also demonstrates his own lazy
approach in games but seems to get a pass.
Maybe there is something going on in training like always seems to be cited but if it is, it's never brought into the match games and for me if your a great trainer but cannot deliver on match days then I don't put much stock in that.
Xhaka remains the glaring example of the inconsistency in Arteta's approach for me.
