It beggars belief for me that so many are willing to slate this guy—who's proven able to participate in major triumphs elsewhere—for not signing a world class striker to sit ahead of him in the pecking order. Far from something in his job description.
This distorted way we continue to reflect on the dire years under Wenger is symptomatic of our mid table status. As a club, Board, manager, staff, squad, fans, Arsenal needs to be moving rationally towards a future free of these distortions.
