How bad do you think we'd need to be against Chelsea for the fans in the stadium to start calling for Artetas head? The mood is not positive about him at all now.
Has Arteta Truly Turned it Around?
the atmosphere after the next 2 fixtures will definitely bring things to a head. if the losses are severe enough it might even elicit a response from our intrepid owners

TBH I don't think it is the results/performances v the big spenders like MC & CFC that will determine anyone's fate, but more so games like today against teams we should be expected to win against.

It certainly isn't. Haven't seen any supporter of him now on other platforms and even the most deluded fans here have stayed silent or realised the reality now
I noticed a lot of pundits on neutral podcasts saying they didn't rate him in the build up to the season. Think most people are past the "give him time" phase.
I think it is fair to say the narrative around him is very much akin to being a 'dead man walking', and a question of 'when' not 'if'.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out if there's a way he goes early and I think it'd take a mass revolt from the fans to get Kroenke to take action.
I think the problem will be the board. I don't think they have any clue or want to be involved in finding the new manager. So to abdicate that responsibility they'll just leave him in place for much longer then the fans are happy.
Unlike the Abramovich approach of seeing Chelsea fall away sacks lamps before the fans had really turned on him.

Certainly since last night. He's a big favourite with the bookies to win the sack race now.

If we receive two consecutive spankings we may get rid of the fraud. Arsenal fans are accustomed to see the team fighting against those guys, at least that is what I think.
It's crazy that there is a chance he may be sacked in the next few weeks after owning the transfer window and the pre season. He should have gone at the end of last season.

He should have gone at december 2020
If we lose city and Chelsea, which we probably will, there's an international break during which all of the articles, blogs etc. will start to bubble.
One or two bad results the other side of that and he'll be done.
Could've used the summer to find a new manager only to wait until the season has begun and the manager pool is much smaller.
Hopefully sacked before the game against scum so we can get someone in for that new manager bounce. He has to go if we lose the next 3 and that's definitely possible
After all our attacking toils last season I cannot believe we chose to then throw £50million for a Brighton defender. My head is spinning.
They'll probably try to buy some goodwill instead of sacking him. Hopefully they don't think Odegaard is enough
I dont think it matters how hard we lose to Chelsea and City, losses should suffice.
What we dont need now, like in December 2020, is another against the odds win against Chelsea. The point must be driven home that we wont make it with this man in charge.
It's criminal that Kroenke and co still haven't sacked him and are waiting for this season to be written off before doing so. Can only hope he doesn't make anymore dodgy signings like White before he gets kicked off the ledge.

The worse we lose, the uglier the atmosphere though. If we are thoroughly outclassed and the scoreline looks like what ManU just did to Leeds, it won’t be pretty at all.
