there's an argument either way as to whether poch was a better coach than the washed version of Wenger in the sample size covering his last 3-4 years. poch lucked into some generational talent, bolstered them with some decent signings and got them to leapfrog us in league position, but ended up trophyless. Wenger won trophies during that period, but did oversee the start of the decline that allowed spurs to overtake us in the league positions. not much between peak poch and low ebb Wenger, which kind of speaks to the strength of wenger as a coach
taken as a whole, the only epl coach who can say he's had a stronger overall career than Wenger is pep. Wenger's CV is still miles ahead of the rest of the coaches currently in the league
