Because Saka is our best player. Don’t think anyone's called Willock that. When he was sent on loan we were clearly hoping for Ceballos to do better than he ended up doing, and it was better for Willock's development that he plays consistently.

Oh, and if the issue is that Willock has already played for Arsenal I can assure you that it's pretty normal to improve when you're 21 and we've had plenty of starting players throughout the history of this club who wouldn't have been starters here at that age.

When you play for a big club it’s a different pressure, not everyone can make it regardless of what they do at smaller clubs.

stop making shit up. 20 goals in like 60 games does not make you a machine. at least not a good machine.

Wilshere and Smith Rowe went on loan after already playing for us, came back and became starters. Not everyone has to have the same route as Saka’s to being a mainstay in the team.

there's an argument either way as to whether poch was a better coach than the washed version of Wenger in the sample size covering his last 3-4 years. poch lucked into some generational talent, bolstered them with some decent signings and got them to leapfrog us in league position, but ended up trophyless. Wenger won trophies during that period, but did oversee the start of the decline that allowed spurs to overtake us in the league positions. not much between peak poch and low ebb Wenger, which kind of speaks to the strength of wenger as a coach

taken as a whole, the only epl coach who can say he's had a stronger overall career than Wenger is pep. Wenger's CV is still miles ahead of the rest of the coaches currently in the league

With Palace losing half their squad this summer to contracts running down we should send them Nketiah, Nelson, Willock and AMN on loan. Possibly one of Holding/Chambers too if we sign a RB and White is finalised. Lock them down to a extensions beforehand and let them build value there.

Roma want to get him as cheap as possible, and our valuationsof him are apparently a bit apart. Since he seems set to go specifically there I reckon it will draw out but will get done eventually.

I've seen some reports from di marzio and the like saying Roma are waiting for us to secure his replacement before we let him go, whereas I assumed it was the other way around

Aye, it probably helps or positon in negoating for his relacement aswell. If he's sold we're looking a lot more desperate.
