Notice it was conditional. Sell IF you can upgrade to Grealish. Everything has a price. I’d sell Saka if I could get my hands on Haaland, Mbappé, etc. Grealish is the best English player.

As for City, they just distort the market of indeed they’re interested. Land of £50m centre backs and full backs.

I have this bad feeling we are going to sell if the offer is big enough for ESR , and Willock will be sold as well.
I would say it will be hard for these men who run our finances to reject a potential 70 million for both of those.

No. That’s too much. I think Grealish is £60-70m. So I would do a £20-25m pay-in with ESR.

A much better outcome is you have both Grealish and ESR though. They create in very different ways, Grealish on the ball, ESR off the ball, and I think they would be complementary to each other on one team. I would happily sell most of the other kids not called Saka and Martinelli to make that happen

If we sell ESR, to villa of all clubs, just fold up the club and be done with it all.

We talk about bringing through the youth, then we absolutely cannot sell ESR.

Most of Villa's trustworthy journos sources have said that you would have to break the British transfer record (Harry McGuire) at a minimum to land Grealish.

I wouldn't put it past them to sell Saka either once someone flashes enough ££ in their face.
No confidence whatsoever in the transfer team , manager , owner.
We are going to be in deep shit at the start of next season if things don't change drastically.
