If he plays the best players wherever possible, what are you praising him for with being good with young players? 😆 Is there any manager who would not play his best player just because he's young?
The critique is the ones who aren't the best, and where the competition is also bad. Nobody is saying AMN is Philip Lahm or "the solution" or "the "answer". They're saying we wouldn't be worse off having played him instead of Cedric and in addition there would've been potential upside playing AMN there. Same with Willian when he was getting minutes, which luckily seems to be a problem of the past. You keep bringing up ESR and Saka when they're clearly the best players in their position so there would never be any discussion as to whether they should play no matter who the manager is. That's not about being good with kids. Typically the dilemma with playing kids is that you might be better off short-term if you use the more experienced player, while long-term the opposite will be true. When you have Saka who is young and the best player in your team there are no cons to playing him, so of course you do it. It's in the positions that are more arguable you see what the manager is about.
