Thankfully, I can’t imagine anyone with anything resembling importance will see it that way.
I’d imagine that there’ll be disappointment that the transfer hasn’t worked out. But i’d be surprised if there’s any hand wringing or second guessing of Arteta going on because, what, a 46 year old (or whatever Willian is) doesn’t like the idea of spending his Saturday’s watching from the bench as a couple of kids end his Arsenal career, which has been the case since Christmas.
Kia, or whoever was supposed to be forcing lineups on us, might be a bit miffed, but i’m sure another potential signing bonus will ease the pain.
