Monreal is very smart and very technially adept. Bellerin... is not.

He's still got a decent top speed imo, you can see once he gets going he's still pretty quick. What he's lost is the burst, agonisingly slow off the mark.
I think he's back to being about as quick as ever personally, maybe a bit slower off the mark, as you said, because of the weakened knee, but he has always had really poor agility and has never been explosively quick - hence why he's always been so poor one-v-one in both directions. Super top speed, yes, but he has no real muscle to generate that explosive burst, and never has had. He also hasn't developed his body much at all, barring a little bit of upper-body muscle, he's still the same skinny kid at nearly 26, and that's to his shame.
