Bellerin has been poor often but we've been even worse. If us as fans can be frustrated with the hack in charge why can't he, especially when he's content even with taking a paycut?

The frustration probably relates to wanting out and nothing happening rather than Arsenal being rubbish.

Those aren't mutually excluding sentiments, players can be happy with riding the bench for a game or two if the club is doing well. He's now on the bench AND we look like shit.

Bellerin captained the club on many occasions and has been with us for more than ten years now, he was a starter for us when we were CL regulars and put in MOTM performances against the likes of Bayern a few years ago. His knee injury ruined his chances of being a world class RB tbf but he knows his (and our) level is still a lot better than this

I feel sorry for Hector. He was brilliant before his injury, lets not forget. He was a huge upgrade on our previous RBs in attacking patterns and input and was a mainstay. He wasn't the same player after the injury.

Why would Atleti or Barca swap their better RB for us? Wouldn't make sense.

It's transfers like Cedric, Willian etc killed us on high wage and long term contracts. Every owner and their dog could see the problem buying shit players like this and now we can't even shift them at all. It's just fucking ridiculous and no logic. Same as Xhaka's new contract. Arteta shit squad building has killed us massively.

True, but I think he has wanted out ever since Wenger left and possibly before that (basically before we hit absolute rock bottom like now).

He's probably thinking that he has made this clear and the club have been dragging their feet for far too long.

Its completely fair for him to be frustrated if we wont play him or let him go. Especially someone like Bellerin who's been at the club so long.

It was quite a reassuring breakdown from Romano, aside from Laca he also said Hector will leave along with Willian. Said Torreira has something with Lazio. Said we're screwed because it's not an easy market to sell while most clubs know we're desperate to get rid, predicts things will move in the final week.

Also said we're 100% after a right back.

Yep that's the most reassuring part. The way we play, assuming Arteta won't be sacked, a RB will be way more important than a number 10.

Not sure if mentioned elsewhere but just switched on SSN and the breaking news is that Barca are interested in Auba and are willing to offer Coutinho in part exchange. Really hope this is not the plan if we're planning on doing business with Barca.
